The Hydrant Inc. is proud to be “Green”. The Earth that we live on, use as our home, and raise our families on has been taking abuse for a long time. The time to start making change in the way we treat the Earth is now. At The Hydrant Inc. we promise to make “Green” changes in more than just the automotive detailing world. What sets The Hydrant Inc. apart from the rest is our attitude, drive, determination, and desire to teach others that being “Green“ isn‘t hard.

People probably wonder how a detailing service that uses water, gas, chemicals, etc. can be “Green”. We are proud to be green by not changing what we do but how we do it.

Mobile Wash Mat
All details begins with the car being driven onto a mobile wash mat. The car is washed on the mat and all of the water, soap, and other products fall onto the mat instead of the ground.

Reclamation and Filtration System
The reclamation system absorbs the water from the wash mat. The water is filtered and is then returned safely into our local water treatment systems.

Water Conservation
A car being washed from a garden hose may use up to 100 gallons of water. At your local carwash, it can be in excess of 20 gallons per vehicle. A fully detailed car with The Hydrant Inc. will use an average of 5 gallons per automobile. Simple tricks like using a pressure washer with a wide fog nozzle allow us to deliver the perfect pressure, cover the most amount of surface area, and stay “Green” by conserving our water usage.

DryWash
In the event of a drought or severe water shortages, which are common in Florida, we can perform our detail with DryWash. DryWash is a completely waterless carwash that will still allow your car to be detailed following the wash. It works by lifting dirt from the car and allowing it to be wiped clean without causing damage to the vehicle‘s surface.

Chemicals
Our chemicals are bought in large quantities to limit the waste of packaging materials. The chemicals used by The Hydrant Inc. are non ozone depleting. Our products are made in the U.S. and come from San Diego, Ca. California is known for enforcing strict guidelines for automotive detailers. Florida doesn’t adhere to the same guidelines, but at The Hydrant Inc., we hold ourselves to those high standards.

Noise Pollution

The Hydrant Inc. isn’t perfect. We use a gas powered generator. However, we purposely use a Honda Quiet generator to reduce noise pollution. The generator is also kept on the Eco-Fuel Saver setting to help conserve as much fuel as possible.

Advertising
Our paper advertising is limited because it can become a major source of pollution and paper waste. The Hydrant Inc. heavily relies on word of mouth from customer satisfaction. Solicitation is done Face-to-Face with a personalized experience.
